Getting to Know the Airport | International Gateway | Aviation Careers | Art in the Airport |
Tours are available year-round, appropriate for both school-age children and adults, and take about two hours.
Tours for school groups include pre-tour resources which must be downloaded before your tour. These materials will help prepare your students for their tour.
Please note: The airport is constantly changing, so we cannot predict exactly what you will see on your tour, except for the sites listed below. Because of heightened security, we are not able to take you to the following locations: interior of airlines, FAA control tower or the baggage handling system. Circumstances permitting, your tour will include visiting a concourse or one of the satellites.
After this tour you will be amazed at what Sea-Tac Airport is all about. Not only will you learn about check-in procedures and baggage handling, you will also learn amazing facts and gain an understanding of what it takes to get a flight in the air!
This tour begins with a narrated slide show of the air cargo process, touches on international tourism and then proceeds to a walking tour highlighting international travel, Immigrations, and Customs.
Sea-Tac Airport resembles a city within a city. And as a part of a major city, we also offer an “art museum.” Since the late 1960s, Sea-Tac has assembled an impressive collection of nationally and locally renowned artists and artwork. The setting for our art collection is unique; you will find impressive art throughout the Airport. This walking tour, appropriate for novices and art enthusiasts alike, will give you an up close and personal look at many of our major pieces, as well as an opportunity to learn about the artists, their work, and their lives.
